Weer boek over de Verlichting, nu wél met Spinoza
Dit is een van de cartoons van Joe Ciardiello die als illustratie werden opgenomen in het onlangs verschenen hersftnummer 2013 van het Williams Magazine van het Williams College in Williamstown, MA. Het Magazine heeft een uitgebreid artikel over een vorige maand verschenen boek over de Verlichting van James MacGregor Burns (1918):

Het is een boek voor een breed publiek, met een goed verhaal over Spinoza. Dat stuk is in z'n geheel te lezen in het hoofdstuk "The Revolution in Ideas" dat door de uitgever op zijn website ter lezing wordt aangeboden (69x de naam Spinoza, 57x John Locke, zonder verband met de vorige - cf hier)
